Abrasive Blasting Special Application

Abrasive blasting is the use of abrasive material to clean or texturize a surface. Typically used in industries such as construction, shipbuilding, automotive, etc. that involve surface preparation. Abrasive materials may include sand, slags, mineral abrasives, metallic abrasives, water, dry ice and synthetic abrasives. In addition to basic requirements, further requirements such as high impact resistance is required to protect the worker from the physical hazards of rebounding abrasives.
